relationships. During the immigration process, the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration
Services (USCIS) or U.S. embassy may require some additional evidence needed
to prove the biological relationship between a petitioner and a beneficiary.
For this reason, the USCIS and U.S. embassies often request that immigration
petitioners undergo DNA testing by an AABB accredited laboratory to provide
evidence of their claimed relationship with potential immigration beneficiaries.
DNA tests used for immigration purposes include paternity tests, maternity tests,
siblingship tests, and grandparentage tests. Our affiliate labs are all AABB
accredited and perform all of these family relationship DNA tests. They utilize an
extensive testing panel to produce the most conclusive results possible.
1. Receive paperwork from the United States Citizenship and Immigration
Services (USCIS)/U.S. embassy that requests more evidence of the claimed
relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary.
2. Contact DNA Mobile to initiate a DNA test by calling 1-877-339-0200 (toll-free,
within the United States). Please provide the complete contact information of every
person to be tested (name, telephone number, and address).
3. Once case information has been given, our DNA case specialist will
coordinate your appointment. Appointments can be made throughout the U.S. or
abroad. Make a copy of the USCIS/U.S. embassy paperwork.
4. Testing Domestically (all parties are in the U.S.) will take 2-5 business days.
For International testing (One party in U.S. and the other parties are abroad) It can
take up to 2-3months for results (depending on the country petitioned).
5. Make a partial payment or full payment for the test.
In foreign countries, the embassy will arrange the beneficiary’s sample collection
appointment in that country. ( Please Note: Due to the limited availability of
embassy staff or appointments, it may take some time for the collection to take
place. DNA Mobile has no control concerning the DNA sample collections abroad,
but the embassy will be notified of any deadlines approaching.)
For the petitioner within the United States, DNA Mobile will arrange sample
collection at one of our many convenient locations.
The sample collection sites will then return the samples to DNA Mobile's lab
affiliate. Upon receiving all the needed samples, the DNA test will be completed
within 5-14 working days, depending on the type of test performed. Please view our
testing fees and turnaround times. (Please note: Additional fees may apply for U.S.
embassy sample collections to be paid to them directly, and fees for the shipping
of supplies, samples, and results.)
We will send the legally admissible test results and a clear explanation of the results
to the proper immigration authorities and the U.S. petitioner. (Please note: We will
only release the test results once the balance amount has been paid in full.)
